Learn how to provide habitat for our pollinators and beneficial insects, the gardening partners in a healthy garden. A little less fall clean-up can provide winter shelter for these garden friends.

Please join us for our biweekly gardening session in Central Park Gardens! Gardening tasks may include pruning, weeding, mulching, watering, raking, or planting in our diverse demonstration gardens. Gloves, tools, and gardening guidance will be provided.
Good pruning techniques for fruit and other dormant trees will improve the strength and form of the tree. Learn about pruning tools and how to use them. Pruning techniques will be demonstrated. Learn how winter dormant care can prevent spring disease.
