Established as a rose garden in the early 1990’s, this garden has been expanded to include a diversity of flowering plants that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. New rose plantings feature tried-and-true varieties with fragrant flowers and disease resistant foliage. Flowering perennials, bulbs, and shrubs have been selected to complement the roses, provide year-round interest, and attract pollinators. The breathtaking centerpiece of the garden is a mosaic vase sculpture created by Davis artist Mark Rivera that depicts native plants, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The red tile of the sculpture harmonizes beautifully with the red and pink color theme of the garden. | Explore the Gardens |
